How to buy XED on KuCoin

Set the trading password

If this is the first time you trade on KuCoin, you have to set a trading password.

  1. Open your account and click on the “Trading Password” box
  2. Click on the “Send code” button to receive a six-digit code on your email or phone number
  3. Fill the “Email verification field”
  4. Click on the “Next” button
  5. Set a six-digit trading password that will be used when you trade on KuCoin
  6. Click on the “Confirm” button

Transfer funds to trading account

If you have transferred USDT from Binance, your funds are on the “Main Account”.

The “Main Account” is used for cryptocurrency deposit & withdrawal and fiat-to-crypto purchase via credit card, so you must transfer your balance to the “Trading Account” to start trading.

From the “Assets” page:

  1. Click on the “Main Account” box
  2. Click on the link “Transfer” of the crypto you want to use
  3. Select the direction of your funds (from “Main Account” to “Trading Account”)
  4. Select the coin you want to transfer
  5. Write the amount
  6. Click on the “Confirm” button

By following these steps, you will successfully transfer your funds. If you open the “Assets” page, you will see your funds on the “Trading Account”.

Trade XED on KuCoin

You’re ready to trade XED on KuCoin now.

  1. Click on “Markets”
  2. Click on USD
  3. Search XED on the search form
  4. Click on the pair XED/USDT

Before trading, you are required to enter the trading password that you have set in the previous step. Once you enter it, you will not need to enter it again for the next 2 hours.

You can place three different kinds of orders.

  • A Limit Order, or a Stop-Limit Order in these cases, the order will be executed only when the asking price is at or below the limit price specified in the order
  • A Market order. In this case the order will be executed immediately at the best available price in the current market
