What is Quickswap?
Quickswap is a Decentralized Exchange on the Polygon Matic Network.
On Quickswap you can swap your tokens like on Uniswap or Pancakeswap. The main difference is that it runs on a different blockchain, the Polygon Matic Network, and you will pay the transaction fees with Matic tokens instead of Ethereum or Binance Coin.
If you already have a MetaMask wallet, you can add the Polygon Matic Mainnet to it and connect your wallet to Quickswap.
Prerequisites to use Quickswap
For those who are new to Quickswap and Polygon Matic Network, you have to know that you can’t buy XED just by opening the exchange. There are some prerequisites to get started.
- Add the Polygon Matic Mainnet to your MetaMask wallet (you can also read: How to connect MetaMask to the Polygon Matic network)
- Get some MATIC tokens. You can get them from a centralized Exchange like Binance.
Finally, Connect MetaMask to Quickswap.
Connect MetaMask to Quickswap
Connecting MetaMask to Quickswap is pretty straightforward.
If you’re connected to another network (for example the Binance Smart Chain) you have to:
- Click on the MetaMask icon on the right top of your browser
- Type your password
- Unlock your wallet
- If you’re connected to another network, click on the “Switch to Matic” button
- Click on the “Switch network” button from the MetaMask window

If you’re already connected to the Polygon Matic Mainnet, you have just to unlock your MetaMask wallet.
When you have successfully connected your MetaMask wallet to Quickswap, you’ll see your Matic balance and wallet address on the right top of the site.
Now you’re ready to buy XED.
How to buy $XED
In this example, I’m going to convert MATIC into XED.
I don’t recommend converting all your MATIC. Because without a minimum amount of MATIC, you can’t pay the transaction fees to do further operations.
On the swap page, MATIC is already selected, you only need to choose XED by
- clicking on the “Select a token” button
- typing XED on the search form
- clicking the XED icon
Click on the “Select a token” button 
Search for XED and click on its icon
Now write how many MATIC you want to convert or how many XED you want to buy, and click on the “Swap” button.
Check if the conversion is correct, and then click on the “Confirm Swap” button.
Once clicked, the MetaMask window will pop up, and you have to confirm the operation by paying the gas fees.
Write how many Matic to convert and click on the “Swap” button 
Click on the “Confirm Swap” button 
Click on the “Confirm” button to pay the gas fees
A few seconds later, you will see a confirmation message.
Well done, you have successfully bought XED on Quickswap.
